I heard someone’s stomach was growling when I was in my math class last week. I was curious about whose stomach was growling, but I didn’t turn around and see because that reminded me my friend’s story. Same thing was happen on my friend, but the difference was one of her classmates laughed at her. My friend felt very embarrassed. At that time, I thought that person might feel embarrassed too and so I would rather not to satisfy my curiosity. It was an early morning. Most people just wake up and then hurry to school. College students don’t eat breakfast is a very common phenomenon in college. In the first quarter of my freshmen year, I would like to save more time to sleep rather than wake up early and go to have breakfast. However, I realized that breakfast is very important and so I started to have breakfast on the next quarter.
Most college students don’t eat breakfast because they want to lose weight. However, I found that didn’t work based on my own experience. People who don’t have breakfast tend to eat more at lunch time because his or her stomach doesn’t have any food for the entire morning and it keeps sending “hungry” signals to the brain. Also, that is not a healthy living style. It is not okay to keep your stomach empty. If you don’t eat breakfast in the morning, you may not have enough energy to work in the morning. That can affect the quality of study and if you have an early class, you will feel difficult to absorb the material in the class. Therefore, having breakfast is only good for you. It is guarantee of your academic study.

yes! breakfast is the most important meal we need to eat everyday! if we skipped breakfast, we definitely would not have enough energy to work. I tend to skip morning before too, just because I tend to wake up so late. However, my dad told me that the side effects if i skipped breakfast, which is the negative influence on our quality of study. So right now, I rather wake up early, and eat more.
ReplyDeleteThis blog is a very good reminder for those people who ignore breakfast all the time. Most of the time, people especially college students lack enough time to prepare their breakfasts. Soon they may get used to skipping breakfast. It is not wise for people to skip breakfast. No matter how busy they are, they should not let their stomaches empty, even an apple or a banana can help.
ReplyDeleteI always had that situtation in classes. I remember the time that i had breakfast everyday was in High school. Many other students not ate breakfast because they want to lose weight most of the cases because they came to college, they rather slept for few more minutes or rush to go out for classes. So they did not eat breakfast. I am one of them. So this article remind me that I should eat something before I go to class tomorrow!
